Alleluia! Jesus Lives! is the final of seven resources in the new Picture the Bible KidLit series. All seven KidLit resources together will bring you 52 stories from Picture the Bible in this easy-to-use new resource. The resources can be used in any order.
This set of lessons begins at Easter—with The Empty Tomb—and includes stories of Emmaus, Thomas, and Pentecost. It ends with a vision for how we can live in God’s Way with a lesson from Micah, Amos, and Matthew. Each lesson contains the core components of a Sunday School class: a Bible story, a related children’s literature story, a creative art project, conversation, and prayer. The lesson is flexible and readily meets the needs of a range of learners. The lessons do not require extensive preparations from teachers—background information and biblical insights are provided! This series can be used in a wide range of congregational contexts.
