KidLit invites learners to explore God’s way and imagine participating in that hope and vision for the world. Each KidLit lesson weaves together a Bible story, timeless children’s literature, a creative art project to foster meaningful conversations at the intersection of faith and life.

The lessons are:

• flexible to meet the interests and needs of learners in kindergarten through Grade 6.
• readily implemented and require little preparation.
• effective for a wide range of contexts.

This free sample lesson, Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet, will introduce you to this new series. Picture the Bible original collage art and a summary of the story are on the first page. Page 2 has helpful Bible background and insights for the leader. A book with a timeless child’s story is chosen, with conversation-starting questions about the Bible story, the art and the book. On the back page are directions to make a beautiful collaborative piece of art that reflects the values and meaning of the lesson.
